Kauai, Hawaii is also known as the Garden Isle & is the 4th largest island in the Hawaiian Islands chain. Lush tropical forests abound with some northern areas receiving up to 400 inches of rain per year making the Hawaiian island of Kauai maybe one of the wettest places on earth.

The large main city of Kauai is Lihue & offers a feeling of a laid back old plantation town that take you back to the good ole days when you could sit, relax under a couple of palms & a breeze in the late afternoon & catch another Hawaiian Style sunset.without pagers, cell phones or e-mail. Waimea Canyon is Kauai's Grand Canyon and is a must see area to enjoy.

On the south side of the island you find the towns of Poipu, Koloa, Hanapepe along with sandy beaches and lots of sunshine! The southern side of the island of Kauai seems to be more popular for both residents and visitors alike. To the southeastern side of the island you have the towns of Hanamaulu, Kapaa & Wailua. On the northern lush side of Kauai are the towns of Hanalei & Princeville. Valleys beautiful with waterfalls, topical forests, rainbows & more in Kauai, paradise on earth.
